What a drama! I’ve finally found a really good Fundraiser proposal template that I’ll be getting started on tomorrow I was meant to finish it tonight but I got sidetracked by a movie (V for Vendetta) and more Darfur research. I’m waiting for emails back from the Darfur Australia Network as well as the Fitzroy Learning Centre.

The funniest thing happened on Tuesday - I was heading into the city, and as I was approaching federation square I noticed a large group of protesters. I said to myself “How funny would it be if they were protesting about Darfur…”

There was large group of Sudanese people gathered in the courtyard, and they were holding signs protesting the killings going on in Sudan. Coincidence? I think not. I grabbed a flyer off one of the girls there, and have now contacted the Fitzroy Learning Centre about support for the project.

So funny how some opportunities just fall into your lap!
