Well I’m off to Sierra Leone in exactly 20 days.

I’m heading over there on September 3rd to help a group called Orphfund build a primary school for 120 orphans. The kids were orphaned during the ‘Blood Diamond’ Civil War - and many of them were rescued from living on the streets, working in rubbish dumps and from child prostitution.

I’ve got to raise another $2,000 before I head off - all the money goes towards building the school, and to do it we’re holding a trivia night at the Station Hotel in Prahran.

I got my second batch of injections yesterday - a nice dose of Rabies, Cholera, Hep A and Typhoid - and the week before that I had Yellow Fever and Menengitis. NICE!
